Day 7 in Haiti - A Journey of Courage and Care

Content creator Iyamille Michelin shared a powerful video capturing her experience traveling through Quartier Prince, a city often labeled “too dangerous” by the outside world. Instead of fear, she found resilience, strength, and the unmistakable courage of the Haitian people.

When her team became stranded in North Haiti with no flights available, HERO Client Rescue stepped in - providing the emergency helicopter support needed to get them back safely.

Helicopter flights in Haiti aren’t free, but every dollar spent directly fuels HERO’s mission:

• Rescuing the injured
• Responding to disasters
• Providing air ambulance and hospital services to those who cannot afford care
• Ensuring that no one is ever denied a flight because they cannot pay

For nearly a decade, HERO has remained a lifeline through some of Haiti’s most challenging times. Now, HERO is expanding its humanitarian impact with a new trauma center in Pétion-Ville, along with pediatric and NICU care for high-risk mothers and babies.

“The more people who choose to fly with HERO, the more lives they can touch,” Iyamille shared - a reminder that hope continues to rise above fear.
